Rhododendron periclymenoides (R. nudiflorum)


      A widespread favorite with slightly fragrant pink (with rarely shades of white or lavender) flowers, blooming in early to mid May. Appreciated by hawkmoths, butterflies and migrating hummingbirds. Variable growth habit, but mostly a full spreading shrub.      Ht. 3-6 ft. (Sun to Partial shade)
